2012: The Year to Connect
Our theme this year is 2012: The Year to Connect. Have you “connected” yet? It begins by getting involved in one of our small group “connect classes,” 8:00am or 10:30am, formerly known as Sunday School. It’s the Sunday morning place to be at Crossway.

Super Bowl Sunday
One of our favorite annual traditions is to “pack the place out” on Super Bowl Sunday. This year, it’s February 5. It is always a good time to be in worship and in a Connect Group here at CrossWay, but especially on Super Bowl Sunday. Dress up (or dress down) in your favorite team jersey that morning. Connect groups are encouraged to host a “Super Bowl party” that evening. It’s a great time to invite an unchurched friend to the big event.

Everything is Up
The new Sunday morning schedule appears to be working. Going to one worship, even temporarily, has generated enthusiasm for just about everyone. Weekly offerings and public decisions have both seen increases.
If you are having trouble finding a seat, come a little earlier. “Scooting to the end of the row” will help.
Change is not always good, but this one seems to be. We are still “tweaking things” to make it even better. Thanks for your support and encouragement.

Ladies Valentine’s Brunch
Tickets are on sale for this year’s annual Ladies Brunch, sponsored by the Men’s Ministry. Saturday morning, February 11, 10:00am. $5 each, at the Information Table. All ladies invited.

Women on Mission
The next monthly meeting is Tuesday morning, January 31. Bring your favorite covered dish and a friend. We’re learning about mission work around the world.

Scout Sunday
Mark the calendar for February 12. Troop 441 and their families will be our guests, dressed in full Scout uniform. Each Scout will bring a canned good to aide CrossWay’s efforts to feed the hungry.

CD Ministry News
Our Multi-Media Ministry offers each morning message on CD, for a minimal cost. You may pick up a copy at the Welcome Center right after the worship service.
Entire sermon series (Ephesians, Philippians, etc) can also be requested and purchased. You can now show someone what CrossWay is like by viewing the morning worship service on our church website (www.crosswaybaptist.com). The 2011 Annual DVD is now available for $10. The disc contains every CrossWay service for the entire year - 52 weeks of exciting music and powerful messages, even Christmas and Easter. MP3 format, for portable players, iPods, Smart Phones. Looking for a volunteer to help is this ministry. See Dan Coleman today (615-668-6555).
