Welcome to CrossWay Baptist Church

If you are looking for a church home, we cordially invite you to consider CrossWay. Our growing church family will do its best to make you feel comfortable and important.
As the final song is sung at the close of today's worship hour, you are invited to "come forward" and tell our pastor that you want to unite with our church in one of three ways:

• By professing your faith in Jesus Christ and being baptized.
• By transferring your membership from another Baptist church.
• By stating that you have been previously baptized in another church similar in beliefs to ours.
• Loving childcare is provided for birth – 3 years during all worship times. A Children's Church experience (4 years-Grade 1 ONLY) is during the morning worship services.

2012: The Year to Connect
Our theme for 2012 is clear. We can connect to CrossWay in one of five main ways. The first is the worship service. The second way is through one of our “connect groups” (formerly called Sunday School).
If I had to choose between attending worship or attending a small “connect” group, it would have to be the latter. Not too much dialogue takes place in worship. It’s just sitting and hearing God’s Word. But in the small group situation, dialogue is encouraged.
Hearing first-hand how God is working in someone else’s life is all it takes to want the same thing for yourself. Praying for and ministering to fellow church members is what these small groups do best.
Find one that you like and be faithful to it. Our “connect groups” meet at 8:00am and 10:30am, right before and right after the worship service. Every age is invited. You’ll be glad you did.

Updating Our Records
You can really help us in the office by completing the “perforated tab” information this morning. We need your current address, cell/phone number, and email address. We want our records to be as accurate as possible.

We want to have the most current info on you, so help us out by completing the perforated tab this morning. EVERYONE !! We need your address, cell/phone number, and email address. Thanks for helping.

Adult Softball Sign-Up
We are fielding a men’s team and a women’s team again this year. You must be 18 yrs old or have a parent’s permission OK to play. Use the Registration tab this morning to sign up. For more info, call Michael Boyte (962-0211). The organizational meeting is today, 12 noon.

Ladies Night Out
This Tuesday, 6:30pm. Let’s have fun “getting healthier” together. Bring a healthy dish or snack, and wear something comfortable. And invite a friend.

High Attendance Day
2012 is our year to connect. We would like to see every CrossWay attender involved in a Connect Group, either at 8:00am or 10:30am. This is the best way to get involved with the church family.
To promote our connect group ministry, we are having a Connect Campaign in March. Here’s what our connect ministry teachers have agreed to do:
March 4 Connect with every member BY EMAIL
March 11 Connect with every member BY TEXT
March 18 Connect with members BY PHONE
March 25 High Attendance Day
The three groups with the highest % of their class roll in attendance will win a free Movie Night here at the church (with hotdogs, popcorn, and childcare, if needed). Mark your calendar for March 25. Let’s all “get connected.”

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
June 10-14
6:00-9:00pm
We are enlisting VBS helpers NOW. See Sherman in you want to help
to make this year’s VBS the best ever.

Women on Mission
This Tuesday morning, 11:00am. Bring your favorite covered-dish. Guest speaker will be Barbara Suitor. All ladies are invited.

New Baby
Congratulations to Mike and Lori Adams on the birth of their new baby boy, Cadence. Proud grandparents are Tommy and Tricia Adams.

Easter Schedule Change
Again, Easter promises to touch many lives in the Murfreesboro area. We will have a service Saturday evening, April 7, 6:30pm. And then we will have ONLY ONE Easter morning service, April 8, at 10:00am. It will be packed, so be making your plans to come to one of these times. And be inviting any unchurched friends to come with you. It just might change their eternity.
