Just by nature, women have special needs that are unique. The Women's Ministry of CrossWay tries to recognize and address those needs. Here are some of the ways we attempt to do this:
This ministry ministers to families in crisis by delivering food to those who have loved ones in ICU.
This activity is planned just for the women of CrossWay. It's an evening to have food, fun and fellowship without the kids and stress of everyday life. This ministry is used as an outreach tool to invite your unchurched girlfriends to a fun event outside the traditional church setting. We use this as a way to show the unchurched we can have fun as Christrians too! The activity that is planned is based on a scripture theme with a brief devotion.
Every Thursday evening from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, our Women's Ministry leads a Children's Bible Club at the Tivoli Apartments on Warrior Drive. Through Bible stories, refreshments, and games, we are touching the lives of unchurched families. We are always looking for men to help with the children who are without dads. This is really missions at it's best.
Every second Thursday and fourth Tuesday night from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
Women's Missionary Union (WMU): This ministry is the umbrella for all Women's mission projects. The adult women are called Women on Missions (WOM). We meet monthly to pray for and study about home and foreign missionaries. We serve as support throughout the year for various activities in our church and community. Anyone interested in becoming a part of our WMU should contact Deborah Malaga, WMU Director.
This ministry is a very exciting ministry. Each banner represents a name of Jesus and illustrates it's meaning. This ministry is a very humbling experience.
Our ladies love doing something nice for someone without them knowing whom it was. Secret Sisters is a fun way to make someone else feel special. Do you like surprises? Then you'll love being a Secret Sister.
